Palm Centro now available in India
Smartphone maker Palm has announced the launch of their Centro mobile device in the Indian market.
The company added that they are considering plans to start outsourcing handsets from Indian manufacturers once they start selling their phones in good numbers.
Palm’s Regional Director (Asia pacific) Olivier Rozay spoke while launching Centro here in India: “We launched the first model in last September. This was targeted at the business class. The latest one, Centro, aims to catch up the younger generation. With these two and others in the coming days, we hope to be doing a good business in India.”
They are currently importing their products from China for sale in the Indian market.
Palm added that they are aiming to generate at least 10 per cent of Palm’s revenue from the Asia-Pacific region in India in the coming years.
