Audi A4 coming to India soon
Audi has announced that they are soon going to launch their A4 model in the Indian market.
The car would be imported initially but they would price the model as per a locally assembled unit.
The company said that they would absorb the price difference till the time they begin assembling it locally. This would save their customers the hassle of paying more for the car initially.
Benoit Tiers, managing director, Audi India said in a statement: “There will be only one price for the A4 in the country. We will absorb the price difference of a CBU while selling at CKD rates since we will be launching the locally assembled A4 by the year end.”
Audi did not do it the same way for their A6 model. Prices of this car were reduced by around Rs. 2 lakh after they started assembling it in India.
