Quanta Video Messenger: OoVoo aims to bring high-definition videoconferencing to HD TV
Software Company OoVoo has announced that they are collaborating with Quanta Computer to bring support for video conferencing to HD TVs.
The two companies are going to launch devices which would connect to these high definition television sets enabling them to video conferences.
This device has been named Quanta Video Messenger and it would allow people to hold discussions sitting from their living rooms.
They would be able to interact with people sitting on their machines using the OoVoo’s software on a PC.
OoVoo Chief Executive Philippe Schwarz said that they aim to release the device in the market by the end of the year at affordable prices.
