Bank of America: Apple iPhone 3G coming in second quarter
Bank of America has said in a report that as per their research, Apple is likely to launch the 3G edition of iPhone mobile device in the second quarter of the year.
The report said that the company is planning to produce as many as 8 million of the devices in the third quarter.
Bank of America analyst Scott Craig added: “Our latest channel checks point to a significant production build of a 3G iPhone beginning in the month of June after a initial small build in May.”
Apple had hinted earlier that they aimed to bring this edition of iPhone sometime this year. The company is also scheduled to launch the iPhone in the Asian markets in 2008.
The Apple iPhone is currently available in USA, UK, Germany, France, Ireland and Austria.
