Dell selling Blu-Ray loaded laptop for less than USD 1000
PC manufacturer Dell has announced that they are now offering notebooks loaded with a Blu-Ray drive for prices below USD 1000.
This option is available on their Inspiron line of laptops. The company is selling a version of Inspiron 1525 with Blu-ray drive for a price tag of $879.
The notebook model also comes loaded with HDMI output and 15.4″ display.
Dell added that the disc decoding for this next generation format would be handled by a dedicated Broadcom decoder located in the laptops mini-card slot.
