Maruti aims to launch a totally India-designed and made car

I.V. Rao, managing executive officer, Maruti Suzuki has said in a statement that the company is working on plans to launch a new product in the coming years that would be made from scratch here in India.

The company is now working on hiring more members to their design and engineering team.

This new product is likely to be based on an existing platform and would be used to demonstrate their capabilities.

Some of the upcoming products from the company include Suzuki Splash and Suzuki A-Star. The company just recently launched their Swift DZiRE sedan in the Indian market.
