Facebook collaborates with CareerBuilder.com
CareerBuilder.com has revealed that they are now working with Facebook social network.
They would now run their job recruiting campaigns on the popular social networking service.
The two companies said that targeted advertisings would run on the pages of the service which would let the user check out the openings on the CareerBuilder.com website.
Richard Castellini, vice president of consumer marketing for CareerBuilder added: “CareerBuilder is spending a considerable amount of money to promote on the Facebook site and the Facebook network, and then we’ll have the ability to resell certain units to continue that promotion for our clients.”
Mike Murphy, Facebook’s vice president of media sales spoke about the potential privacy issues: “We’re not inserting anything into anybody’s profile. We’re just having them run advertising using Facebook Ads to prospective employees, and have them choose whether to participate or not.”
