Indonesia announces a ban on YouTube
The Indonesian government is now seeking a ban on the Google owned YouTube video sharing service.
They are implementing this bad due to a video hosted on YouTube which has been made by a right-wing Dutch lawmaker.
The video accuses the Koran of inciting violence. Indonesia’s information minister, Muhammad Nuh has also contacted Google YouTube to remove this offensive video.
Cahyana Ahmadjayadi, the ministry’s director general for information technology added in a statement: “Our efforts include asking Internet service providers to block access to YouTube. They have started doing it now.”
