Sprint to challenge Apple iPhone with Samsung Instinct
Sprint Nextel has announced that they are launching a new mobile device from Samsung named Instinct.
This device is clearly targeted at the Apple iPhone device which is offered by rival company AT&T.
Samsung Instinct features a 3-inch display, multimedia capabilities, and QWERTY keypad.
This device was showcased at the ongoing CTIA Wireless conference in Las Vegas.
Sprint aims to launch the device by summers this year. Apple iPhone has been on sale since last year.
Incidentally, the phone features a similar design to the Apple iPhone. It measures 4.57 inches by 2.17 inches and weighs 4.4 ounces.
Sprint said that the device would be exclusive to them and would support high-speed CDMA EV-DO Rev A network for text messaging, e-mail, and connecting to the Web.
