Everex CloudBook Max to support Xohm WiMax wireless broadband network
Everex Systems is displaying their latest product CloudBook Max laptop which they say would support the Sprint Nextel’s Xohm WiMax wireless broadband network.
This new notebook model is being displayed at the ongoing CTIA Wireless 2008 trade show in Las Vegas.
However, they are going to launch it sometime next year.
The company said that the notebook would connect to Wi-Fi 802.11b/g networks and would be able to upload or download data wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Everex CloudBook Max weighs around 2.2 lbs and comes with an 8.9-inch LCD display. The demo machine was powered by the Microsoft’s Windows Vista Home Basic OS.
