Apple iPhone in short supplies in USA
Market sources say that the Apple iPhone has been in short supplies in the US market. Several retail stores are already out of stock.
Analysts believe that this could possibly be the sign of faster launch of the much awaited Apple iPhone 3G edition.
However, it could also be related to problems in the Apple iPhone supply chain.
Bernstein Research said in a report that if the shortage continues, Apple could lose sales of up to 40,000 units a week.
An Apple spokesperson had this to say on the reports: “We are working to replenish iPhone supplies as quickly as we can and our stores continue to receive shipments almost every day.”
