Google to selloff Performics
Search engine giant Google has said that they are going to selloff Performics which they gained as part of their acquisition deal with DoubleClick.
Performics is essentially a search engine optimization company which helps clients improve their rankings on search engines.
For Google it turned out to be conflict of interest entity.
Company representative Tom Phillips spoke about this new development: “It’s clear to us that we do not want to be in the search engine marketing business. Maintaining objectivity in both search and advertising is paramount to Google’s mission.”
