Yahoo rejects Microsoft offer once again

Internet media giant Yahoo has again rejected the bid made by Microsoft for a possible acquisition deal.

Microsoft has stated that they are giving Yahoo three weeks before they are going to go ahead with a hostile acquisition attempt.

Yahoo said in a statement: “We continue to believe that your proposal is not in the best interests of Yahoo and our stockholders.”

Microsoft has been putting pressure on Yahoo to accept their bid. The company has also hinted that they might reduce the value of the bid as no one else is competing with them to acquire Yahoo.

Microsoft needs Yahoo to enhance their search engine and online advertising services. Both of these areas are dominated by Google.
