Facebook Chat in pre-launch beta stage

Social networking service Facebook has now started the launch of their Chat service on some of the networks.

The company says that the service is in pre-launch beta right now and it would be expanded to all the members slowly.

The chat messages are also said to update the users with mini-feed stories as they happen during a conversation.

This new feature is pretty interesting and usable. We expect this to be copied/replicated by other competing services like MySpace and Orkut.

I cannot get Facebook chat on my account. I want it really really bad. I am a no-network user. Does anybody know when I will get it? Because this is really driving me crazy.
