Amazon EC2 platform suffers another outage
Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud service suffered a downtime exceeding one hour.
This was the second such outage in the recent times as the company is still working on figuring out the problems behind these downtimes.
Market analysts believe that since this platform technology is new to the market, it could take some time before they can be trusted for mission critical activities.
Amazon was however more accessible to the users of the service compared to previous time. They kept the customers update with the status on the problem.
Experts believe that the platform is still worth considering for projects as Amazon is pretty serious about this service and they are going to figure out the issues and solve them eventually.
