MySpace Latino expanding to offer local communities
Social networking industry giant MySpace has announced that there are now expanding their services for the users in Latin America.
The service is now adding eight bilingual communities focused on Latino celebrities including bands, celebrities and sport stars.
Victor Kong, the Miami-based managing director for MySpace Latino spoke about these new developments: “It’s been something they’ve been asking for. We’re not just duplicating everything and having the same exact programs in Spanish.”
The company added that they will make sure that the transition between the English and the Spanish version of the site would remain seamless.
MySpace is collaborating with Spanish Broadcasting System to offer a specialized channel that focuses on Latino celebrities and fashion.
