Rumor: Yahoo could outsource search ads to Google
Market sources are saying that Yahoo is in talks with the search engine giant to possibly outsource search ads to them.
This could become a major development for the company in their attempt to avoid getting acquired by Microsoft.
Incidentally, reports also state that they are also in talks with Time Warner for a possible collaboration with AOL.
Yahoo incidentally has their own advertising platform which competes with Google. It would be interesting to see if this rumor turns out to be true.
None of the involved parties have commented on this latest rumor in the market.
