Yahoo announces deal with Google on sharing ad space on search results
Surprise Surprise!
Google and Yahoo might be rival search engine and online advertising companies but they are now joining hands.
Yahoo has said in a statement that they are now going to run Google ads on some of their advertising space as part of a two week long test.
If the test is successful, the two companies could potentially expand this agreement.
Google would now be placing their ads on about 3 percent of the queries made in the United States on Yahoo Search Engine.
This is an important step taken by the internet media giant as they are working hard to avoid a takeover by Microsoft.
