Blinkx signs advertising deals with five companies

Video Search engine Blinkx has announced that they have signed some new advertising deals.

The company is now going to provide video advertising services to HIT Entertainment, Channel 5 Broadcasting, and Cheflive along with Kitchen Caravan and Savory Cities web sites.

Ryan Tunstall, IT and operations director for HIT spoke about their deal with Blinkx: “We are delighted to be working with Blinkx to increase the distribution of our shows worldwide and perfectly complements and supports our digital strategy in reaching a global audience.”

Blinkx is one of the major rivals to Google Video Search service and provides contextual ads with online videos which are searchable on their search engine.
