Yahoo said to closing on a deal with Time Warner AOL
More rumors in the market related to Yahoo and Microsoft’s bid to acquire them.
Market sources are now saying that the internet media giant is closing in on a deal with Time Warner.
This possible deal would see Yahoo merging with AOL division of Time Warner.
This would practically save them from the Microsoft’s acquisition attempt.
Wall Street Journal had stated that Yahoo would receive a cash investment from Time Warner in return for a 20% stake in the Yahoo-AOL merged entity.
The deal would put the value of AOL at around USD 10 Billion.
