Microsoft Clearflow technology to be showcased

Microsoft is all set to showcase a new technology named Clearflow which is designed to help customers avoid traffic jams while they are driving.

The technology has been under development over the last five years by a group of artificial-intelligence researchers at the company’s Research lab.

The company is aiming to use machine-learning techniques to help ease traffic jam problems for the users.

This new service is expected to be made available through their maps.live.com service. It would support around 72 cities in the United States.

The service would provide the user with alternative routes to avoid traffic jams between two destinations.

Clearflow will not be reliable. Only the obvious types of traffic jams will be displayed and anyone familar with the local area won’t need the service. The service is too limited. Look at my alternative: http://www.upostlive.com It’s wiki style where drivers post alerts for others to see. And it’s free.
