Microsoft prefers to stay alone on Yahoo Bid

Rumors in the market stated that News Corp was in talks with Microsoft to join their bid to acquire internet media giant Yahoo.

However, the latest information in is that the software giant wants to proceed with the bid alone. They are however not running out collaborating with a partner.

News Corp is also in talks with Yahoo for a possible partnership to help them avoid getting acquired by Microsoft.

Other sources are claiming that Yahoo is closing in on a deal with Time Warner to merge with AOL.

Nothing has been stated officially though the saga of Microsoft and Yahoo is getting interesting with time.
