Fujitsu to showcase a laptop made up of wood
Fujitsu has announced that they are soon going to display a concept laptop product whose casing would be made up of wood.
Most laptops are usually made up of plastic or metal.
The company said that this product would make use of cedar wood for the case.
Fujitsu is also using bio-plastics for other parts to make it more environment friendly.
They are collaborating with Monacca for this concept product. Monacca specializes in wooden products.
Fujitsu said that wood based laptops are not really suitable for mass production though they are working on using bio plastic in their products.
