aol.tw launched
AOL has now launched their web portal aimed at the Taiwanese market.
The company has inaugurated AOL.TW in Chinese language.
AOL said localized portals are essential to enhance their international user base.
The US based company is aiming to have 30% international users by the end of the current year.
AOL said that their Taiwanese portal would offer similar services as they are provided in other markets.
These would include local news, entertainment and finance information, free e-mail and instant messaging, and Chinese-language search and video search via Truveo.com.
