Microsoft updates Live Search News Portal
Microsoft has updated their Live Search News Portal to showcase a much more toned down look.
It features the regular sections like Top News and other categories similar to rival services from Google and Yahoo.
The company also seems to be showcasing Local News based on the IP of the user.
The service also features a Breaking News highlighted bar which appears whenever the engine detects any major news event.
The company is yet to officially talk about this new release. But the general feeling is that it still is no match for rival services.
