Acer Aspire 5920 with inbuilt WiMax support
Acer has showcased their latest laptop product named Acer Aspire 5920 which features built-in support for WiMax technology.
They are planning to offer this laptop through Sprint Nextel and other companies providing WiMax services.
They are getting this notebook manufactured by Quanta Computer and it should be available on sale in the market later this year.
Acer said that the laptop device could be sold in the market along with a WiMax package similarly to how mobile devices are sold in the market along with contract packages.
Intel is said to have placed orders for some of these machines to test their technologies.
Everex CloudBook Max is another system that has been displayed recently featuring support for WiMax technologies.
