China now has highest number of internet users

China has now overtaken USA to become the country with the largest number of internet users.

China already has the world’s largest number of mobile users.

Official Chinese statistics reveal that the china had close to around 220 million internet users in the month of February.

USA in comparison had around 216 million users at the end of 2007.

China however still trails the US market when it comes to percentage of total population accessing the internet.

The country is however seeing massive growth in this segment of the market.
