Acer’s Intel Atom based laptop coming in June
PC maker Acer has said that they would be launching their first notebook product to be powered by Intel Atom processor in June this year.
They would display this new product at the Computex trade show in Taipei.
This new product is likely to be an ultra mobility notebook which would be priced competitively.
Intel developed the Atom processor range for the new generation of portable internet devices which are more capable than Smartphones but more portable compared to regular laptops.
Acer is also likely to soon launch an edition of their EEE PC powered by one of these Intel Atom processors.
