Google bring image ads to mobile devices
Search engine giant Google has now launched image ads service for mobile devices. The company is already providing text based ads on this platform.
The company said that the image ads on mobile devices would be similar to how they come on the desktop but they would be resized for the smaller mobile screens.
These ads would be targeted according to the keywords being searched by the user on their mobile devices.
Google said that advertisers would be required to link these ads to pages optimized for the mobile platform to maintain relevancy to this medium.
Alexandra Kenin, a product marketing manager, for Google Mobile Ads added: “For advertisers, mobile image ads serve as a branding tool and have shown to have good click-through rates.”
