Yahoo aims to improve social experience on their web services
Yahoo has finally decided to improve the social experience on their web services.
The company now aims to become a social hub for web users by hosting applications from third party developers.
A Yahoo representative said: “We are going to rewire the entire experience at Yahoo to make it social in every dimension.”
The company said that this new experience would enable their users more flexibility to customize their Yahoo web pages.
This would of course take some time but the company expects to be ready with this new online initiative by the end of the year.
However, market analysts believe that all this effort might go wasted if Yahoo could not prevent the hostile takeover by the software giant Microsoft.
