O2 Wireless now offering Alcatel OT-E206a
O2 Wireless has announced that they are now offering the first mobile phone OT-E206a from Alcatel.
The company has collaborated with TCL Communication Technology Holdings which manufactures mobile phones for Alcatel.
O2 added: “TCL felt that O2 Wireless’ national reach, low long distance rates, and high-quality service made it the preferred choice to debut their chic European designed phones in the U.S. This new relationship provides O2 Wireless with a broader array of phones as well as a cost-effective phone option that will support its national prepaid presence.”
This new mobile phone is lightweight at just around 2.5 ounces. It offers five hours’ talktime and 250 hours in standby mode.
It is a very basic mobile phone featuring no USB connectivity, Bluetooth or camera. But it comes damn cheap at just $19.99.
