Cray to now use Intel processors in their products
Supercomputer maker Cray Inc has announced that they are now breaking their exclusive agreement with AMD to build products powered by Intel products.
Intel and AMD are the two most popular microprocessor companies in the personal computer market.
This deal is a breakthrough for Intel as Cray has been using just AMD processors since the last six years.
Intel said that this deal would further boost their server processor division.
AMD would be disappointed from this development as they continue to struggle to come out with products that could lure customers away from the new Intel processors.
