Rogers Communications to bring Apple iPhone to Canada
Rogers Communications has announced that they have now become the exclusive carrier of the Apple iPhone for the Canadian mobile phone market.
They would be launching the iPhone in this market later this year.
They did not reveal the pricing of the phone though experts believe that it would be on the higher side.
Market analyst Carmi Levy spoke about their assessment: “This will go to someone who doesn’t blink at paying $100 per month or more in subscription fees for both voice and data.”
Apple iPhone is available on sale in the US and some European markets since quite some time.
The company is rumored to be working on the second generation iPhone which is expected to support 3G technologies.
