Asus to double production of EEE PC to meet demand
Asus has announced that they are now planning to double the production of their low cost EEE PC to meet the excessive demand in the market.
The company said that they are now planning to manufacture between 1.2 million to 1.3 million units in the three months ending June 30.
They had shipped around 700,000 Eee PCs in the first quarter.
Asus is also working on new variants of the machine to meet the requirements of different market segments.
Some of these new variants could feature more functions and better specifications as Asus wants to capitalize the craze for these machines in the market.
