Skoda Superb updated edition to come to India next year
Skoda has said that they would be brining the next edition of their Superb model in India sometime next year.
This launch would be part of their strategy to enhance their position in the luxury D-plus segment. This segment is currently dominated by Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi.
Skoda India said in a statement: “The New Superb will be launched in Europe in October this year. Following this, we will introduce it in India sometime next year. This will help us increase our sales in D segment as the new model will have many USPs.”
The current model of Skoda Superb is priced at Rs 19.89 lakh. The new variant is expected to be priced competitively.
Skoda has other models on sale in the Indian market including Fabia, Octavia and Laura.
