Ruckus Wireless files a lawsuit against Netgear

Networking hardware manufacturer Netgear has been sued by rival company Ruckus Wireless over patent infringement.

Ruckus Wireless is claiming that Netgear infringed upon their patented technologies for improving Wi-Fi performance and reliability.

Ruckus claims that Netgear has been using their technology in RangeMax WPN 824v3 wireless router without their permissions.

The company hold patents for a system which uses antenna arrays to form and direct Wi-Fi signals over the best path at any given time.

The lawsuit is related to their patent 7,193,562 which was granted to them last year.
