Glue Pages Beta: Yahoo Search India gets merged result feature
US based internet media giant Yahoo has said that they are now beta testing mixing search results with data from different sources in India.
The result pages on Yahoo India Search would now showcase text, images, and video results on a single results page.
The company said that this new feature named Glue Pages Beta would work for keywords related to categories such as health, sports, entertainment, travel, technology, and finance.
Yahoo said that they picked up India for this experiment as it is an important market for them. The company has a research and development center in Bangalore, India.
The company added that based on their success with this experiment, they would expand it in other markets as well.
