Facebook to implement security measures to meet state demands
Facebook is said to have agreed to implement several security measures to protect younger users on their social networking service.
The company would take as many as 40 steps to meet the demand from the US state governments.
Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said in a statement that these new measures have been designed to thwart sexual predators, fraud and online bullies.
Facebook has also accepted to ban users who are convicted sex offenders. They are also going to make it tough for users to search for members below 18 years of age.
