They have announced upgrades to its range of iPod players including the iPod Photo device. iPod Mini is now in its second generation and now comes in extended capacities of 4GB and 6GB. Another upgrade announced today is in the iPod Photo lineup from Apple Computers. Apple has added models with capacities of 30 Gigs and 60 Gigs. Apple has also announced plans to add camera support to iPod Photo so that images can be transferred to iPod directly from digital cameras. Also new are some special transition effects between slideshows on the iPod Photo.

The prices for these new models are around USD 349 for the 30 Gig model of the iPod Photo and USD 499 for the 60 Gig model. Apple expects the camera connectors to be available in the retail market in March and has priced them at USD 29.
