Yahoo acquires Inquisitor for Mac Platform

Internet media giant Yahoo has announced that they have now acquired Inquisitor software.

Inquisitor is a plug in for Apple Safari web browser which auto-completes queries and delivers results right in Safari Web browser.

This feature is similar to the Yahoo’s own Search Assist technology but works on the Apple Mac platform in Safari.

The company said that the newly launched edition of Inquisitor is free of affiliate ad links. The latest edition also simplifies the search provider selection interaction and refines the preferences user interface.
