Apple iPhone to be sold non-exclusively in Australia and India
Apple iPhone has been sold exclusively through a single carrier in most of its markets now.
The company aims to sell 10 million units of the iPhone in the world markets within this year and this means that they have to expand the availability.
This means that the company is now focusing on non exclusive agreements.
Apple iPhone would no longer be exclusively available through a single carrier in two markets Australia and India.
SingTel has announced their deal with Apple allowing them to offer the device in markets including Singapore, India, Australia and Philippines.
This means that in India, both Vodafone and Airtel would be selling the device in the market.
No confirmed launch dates have been revealed but the iPhone would be on sale in India before the end of the current year.
