Maps on Ovi launched
Nokia has now made available their mobile navigation system on desktops through their OVI online service.
Users would now be able to save their map locations and routes on the computers and sync them with their mobile devices.
This new service was launched at the Where 2.0 conference in Burlingame, California. It is powered by their mobile-phone navigation technology, Nokia Maps 2.0.
The company said that the Maps on Ovi service has been designed to enable users to use and mark up maps on the Web and then upload their changes to a cell phone.
