HBO shows said to be nearing launch on Apple iTunes
Market sources claim that Apple is nearing a deal with Time Warner to start offering HBO shows on their iTunes store.
These shows are expected to be sold with variable pricing. If this happens, it would be the first time that Apple would have agreed to sell television shows at different prices in the United States.
None of the involved parties have commented on this latest rumor in the market.
This would be an interesting development considering Apple iTunes lost NBC shows as they could not agree on a variable pricing model.
NBC is offering its content on iTunes rival Zune Marketplace.
