comScore: Google most popular online destination in USA
comScore has for the first time ranked Google at the top of their list for most visited destinations online in the USA.
As per the latest report, Google has now overtaken Yahoo to become the most popular website in the USA.
This ranking is by the number of unique monthly visitors.
The difference between Yahoo and Google numbers in this report is tiny. This could expand in the coming months as Google continues to gain in the search engine market.
comScore is not alone… Nielsen Online had placed Google above Yahoo some months ago.
Microsoft comes at third place in the report.
