HP India launches LaserJet P1007/P1008 Printers
HP has announced the launch of two new printers in the Indian market.
The company is now offering their latest products: HP LaserJet P1007 and LaserJet P1008.
Ajay Rawal, Country Category Manager, Commercial Volume LaserJets, Imaging and Printing Group, HP India Sales spoke about these new products: “As the market leader in the laser printer category, we believe that we must constantly innovate to meet and surpass customer expectations. The LJ 1007 and LJ 1008 with HP’s new patented Spherical Toner, print speeds of up to 17 ppm and a compact form factor are designed to boost customer delight.”
These two new products are the company’s smallest and most compact laser spherical toner printing system for the home and small offices.
The company highlighted the benefits of these new products:
Increase productivity with fast print speeds up to 15 ppm for the HP LaserJet P1007 and up to 17 ppm for the HP LaserJet P1008.
Print a first page in less than 8.5 seconds from Powersave mode with no-wait Instant-on Technology.
Keep energy bills low with the HP LaserJet P1007/P1008 printer, which is engineered to use less energy over an extended period of time.
With HP accessories, enjoy flexible networking options for greater cost efficiency and a variety of business needs.

LikeI experience a strange problem with HP P1007 LJ printers. When I give double side print (manual feed), after printing face sheets of the pages in the print range, it does not print on the back pages even after staking the papers. I log in as a user (not as administrator). Neither I am able to cancel the print job, nor I could proceed with new print job. Even after hours the status remains the same. I enquired with some of the users (about 4 or 5) and all of them reported the same problem and to solve it they shut down and restart the system. To me it does not appear to be the solution. Can anybody throw some more light.

LikeI have experienced a very strange problem regarding this printer (1008) when i try to print from our software (developed in power builder) it fails to print, but if i print first from a notepad or wordpad and then from our software then it works! the same software is installed in almost a 1000 computers and this kind of problem is never reported.
