Google: Ad revenues from social networking services improving
Google has invested a lot in deals with social networking services but the returns have been disappointing.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin has said in a statement that the situation is improving but is still not good enough.
He was quoted as saying: “In general it’s been improving but we still have a long way to go. Things have been going well this year…it’s hard to predict where social networking will come out.”
About the deal with Yahoo, he said that the results were impressive and they are happy to work with the internet media giant. No details on possible future collaborations were revealed.
