Deutsche Telekom has sold more than 100,000 Apple iPhones
Deutsche Telekom has revealed that they have sold more than 100,000 units of the Apple iPhone in the German market since its launch in November last year.
Deutsche Telekom chief executive Rene Obermann said in a statement that the iPhone was the most popular multimedia device sold by their T-Mobile division.
He added that the iPhone owners in the region use the internet functionality on the device 30 times more on average than other mobile telephone customers.
Obermann further said that around one third of the customers picked up the more expensive plan with the iPhone.
They are the only official provider of the iPhone in Germany.
