RIM Blackberry Thunder to take on Apple iPhone 3G
Wall Street Journal has reported about the upcoming Blackberry Smartphone model codenamed Thunder.
This new Blackberry would have a touch screen interface similar to the iPhone.
Gus Papageorgiou, an industry analyst with ScotiaBank was quoted as saying: “As the company delivers more devices on the platform, they will deliver more radical designs and will aim more at the general consumer. The advantage Apple had was a cool form factor, and that advantage is slowly eroding.”
If RIM manages to come out with an innovative device, they could prevent corporate from looking into iPhone as an alternative as Apple is working on adding corporate email features to their mobile phone product.
