Microsoft announces mobile ads for messenger and messenger
Software giant Microsoft has announced that they are now letting advertisers to deliver banner ads to their mobile edition of Live Messenger and Live Hotmail.
These ads are currently supported in markets including France, Spain, UK and USA.
Google has already been supporting such a feature enabling advertisers to target mobile users.
Yahoo, AdMob and Third Screen are already some of the major players in this segment of the market.
Microsoft said that they are now working on enabling this functionality on their Live Search Mobile.
The company further said that their Windows Live for mobile is now available in as many as 49 markets.
Microsoft has also showcased a technology that would enable companies to advertise to Zune users.
