eBay sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for buyers

Online retailing service eBay has finally implemented the changes they had announced sometime ago.

Starting today, eBay sellers are no longer allowed to leave negative or neutral feedback on customers.

While this is good news for buyers on the service as bad sellers would not be able to tarnish their ratings on the service, the sellers are disappointed with this new feature.

EBay believes that the changes are for the good. Few merchants might get disappointed and leave but overall the service is expected to improve.

The company said that they would also now remove negative feedback for sellers from buyers who gets suspended or did not pay for the product.

Ebuyer-feedback.com is one of the many sites which are trying to cash in on this opportunity. They are providing a platform allowing eBay users to leave feedbacks for other members.

EBAY SELLERS UNITE!!! SLAM THE BAD BUYERS!! I just went through a bad experience with a buyer who took my cell phone, used it for a MONTH, complained to ebay it didnt work, left me HORRIBLE feedback that ebay REFUSED to remove, and then gave her her money back after she sent me my phone back.

I agree, now sellers have no way of knowning if a buyer is a non-payer or not except for old feedback. I have had a few bidders not pay and I have no way of warning other sellers.
